Mt Juliet Tennessee – The Kings of Leon have had a pretty good year this year.

As well as a number of nominations at this years American Music Awards, they took home 2 Brit Awards (British Music Awards) for Best International Artist and Best International Album.  Couple all of this excitement with a very successful world tour, and well….. these things take a toll on a rock band.  And I know (Ive moved up to Medium Level on our Playstation version of the same lifestyle)

The so the band announced yesterday that they are taking a 6 month break to eat Ice Cream.  Men after my own heart.  

Drummer Nathan Followill said: “I’m going to sit on my couch and cry tears of joy sitting in my pants with a tub of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookie ice cream.”
