Melbourne Australia – Frantic parents who found their 8 year son missing in the middle on the night, were advised by local police that their son was located in the Ice Cream aisle of their local Safeway supermarket. Staff members noticed the lone youngster tucking into a tub of chocolate ice cream at 3.50am and advised authourities who returned the boy to the station.
The boy was returned to his parents shortly afterwards, but not before eyeing off the treats at the police station while he waited. The youngster will not be charged for shoplifting.
